Tour Itinerary 1

Day 1 Paro-Thimphu

Upon arrive to Paro International Airport, you we will be greeted by our guide and driver and then transfer to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Lunch will be served at Thimphu. After lunch we will explore Thimphu’s attractions, such as the Tashichho Dzong (fortress-monastery), National Memorial Chorten, or the vibrant local markets and Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang). This gigantic statue of Shakyamuni measures in at a height of 51.5 meters, making it one of the largest statues of Buddha in the world. After a day of travel and exploration, unwind and enjoy a leisurely evening in Thimphu. Sample delicious Bhutanese cuisine, relax in the cosy ambiance of your hotel, and prepare for the adventures that await you in the days ahead.

Day 2 Stay in Thimphu

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel or a local cafe for a day of exploration in Thimphu, the vibrant capital city of Bhutan, we will do sightseeing in the Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan led by your knowledgeable local guide. Explore the unique blend of traditional Bhutanese architecture and modern influences as you visit key landmarks and cultural sites.

We will visit to National Memorial Chorten (a sacred Buddhist monument built in memory of Bhutan’s third king), Buddha Dordenma Statue (one of the largest Buddha statues in the world), Takin Mini-zoo (to see the National Animal of Bhutan, (Takin) and explore Thimphu’s bustling craft market, where local artisans showcase their traditional handicrafts, including intricately woven textiles, hand-carved wooden masks, and vibrant thangka paintings. Take the opportunity to shop for souvenirs and support local artisans. Lunch will be served at Thimphu town, one of the restaurants with savouring authentic Bhutanese dishes such as ema datshi (chili and cheese stew), phaksha paa (pork curry), or momos (dumplings) served with fiery dipping sauces. After lunch, we will continue with our tour and evening we will explore Thimphu town by walking. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Thimphu.

Day 3 Thimphu-Punakha

Begin your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Thimphu, preparing yourself for the journey ahead to Punakha, a scenic valley located at a lower altitude. We will stop at the pass for photography and enjoying the fresh air. Continue your journey to Punakha, we will visit Chhimi Lhakhang, the temple of fertility. After that we will served the lunch. On reaching Punakha, explore Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most iconic landmarks and a masterpiece of Bhutanese architecture. We will visit to Punakha Dzong. This dzong is the most beautiful dzong in Bhutan and located majestically at the confluence of Pho Chhu (Male River) and Mo Chhu (Female River). End the day by visiting to nearby suspension bridge, take a leisure dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Punakha.

Day 4 Punakha- Phobjikha

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel in Punakha, energizing yourself for the journey to Phobjikha, a picturesque valley nestled at an altitude of 3,000 meters (9,842 feet). We will continue our journey after breakfast and stop at Wangdue Phodrang to explore a quaint known for its traditional architecture and bustling markets. Explore the local shops and perhaps purchase some souvenirs to commemorate your journey. On the way we will visit to different places like Gangtey Monastry, located in the picturesque Gangtey valley, the monastery has the most beautiful architecture that overlooks the village below, Black Necked Crane Information Centre (The Royal Society for Protection of Nature has set up an information centre on Black Necked Cranes), Gangtey Nature Trail so that travellers can engage in day hikes. There are multiple trails with easy to moderate difficulty, leading through the pine forest and Taking a hot stone bath is the perfect way to unwind any traveller’s day.

Take a break for lunch at a local restaurant or picnic spot in Phobjikha, where you can enjoy a delicious meal and the natural beauty of the valley. After that take the opportunity to explore the charming villages of Phobjikha and interact with local residents. Gain insights into their traditional way of life, agricultural practices, and cultural traditions as you stroll through the picturesque countryside. End a day with dinner and overnight stay at Phobjikha.

Day 5 Phojikha-Thimphu

After our breakfast at hotel or guesthouse, we will drive to Thimphu over dochula pass. En route to Thimphu, make a stop at Wangdue Phodrang and explore local markets. On the way back to Thimphu, you will see the stunning view of eastern Himalayan Mountain Ranges on the clear days. We will stop at the pass for photography and enjoying the fresh air. On reaching Thimphu, we will take a break for lunch. Thereafter, we will do check back in hotel and enjoy some leisure time to explore Thimphu at your own pace. Conclude your day with a satisfying dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 6 Thimphu-Paro

After breakfast depart from Thimphu by saying good-bye to Thimphu city and meet with your guide and driver, we will drive to Paro. We will make stop on the way to explore local landmarks, viewpoints, or cultural sites to enhance your journey.  Continue the journey to Paro and lunch will be served at Paro. Thereafter, do check-in at hotel, visit to Paro Dzong to explore more about dzong, enjoy some leisure time to relax and unwind in Paro and conclude your day with a delicious dinner at your hotel or a nearby restaurant in Paro.

Day 6 Paro Festival Attend

Begin your day with healthy break from hotel. After that, explore tsechue. The Paro Tshechu Festival is a spectacle culture in Bhutan with the majestic dzong, lush valleys, a pristine river and a clear sky where town looks like a painting. Giving visitors an illusion as if they are in a dream. The annual celebrations commences on the 10th day of the second month according to the Lunar Calendar, typically occurs in March or April and draws both locals and tourists to witness different activities like Bhutanese festival costumes, Paro Tshechu masks and Traditional dances of Bhutan. The festival takes place in the courtyard of the Paro Dzong, it is not just a festival but also it is their faith and belief, which celebrate in the form of Tshechu. Also, social gathering where Bhutanese comes together to celebrate heritage, traditional dances, partake in spiritual cleansing.

Day 7 Stay Paro

Begin your day with a leisurely breakfast at your hotel in Paro, enjoying a variety of delicious dishes to fuel yourself for the day’s activities. After that we will visit Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest): Embark on a memorable excursion to Paro Taktsang, also known as the Tiger’s Nest monastery. After returning from Paro Taktsang, take some time to explore the charming town of Paro. Evening stroll around the Paro vally, the valley of surpassing Beauty. Dinner and overnight stay at Paro hotel.

Day 8 Paro-Paro Airport (Departure)

Begin your day with breakfast, we will drive to Paro International Airport for your onward flight. Our guide and driver will bid you farewell here at the airport where you trip to Bhutan ends here. We wish you a very safe and pleasant flight for your onward destinations.
